Using InQuiz
What is InQuiz AI?
A desktop copilot for live interviews. It transcribes the conversation as it happens and, when you ask, writes an answer built from your resume, the job description and what has already been said.
Which interview rounds does it cover?
Behavioural rounds (natural or STAR answers), technical questions, coding problems with talking points for each step, and system design with clarifying questions and an architecture diagram.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
It listens to your computer's audio, so it works with any call you can hear: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and coding platforms such as HackerRank and CoderPad.
Which languages are supported?
Live transcription supports more than 50 languages, including English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese. You choose the language when you set up a session.
Does it run on Windows and Mac?
The desktop app is built for Windows and macOS. The download page shows which builds are available right now. Private mode behaves differently on each system; see the privacy questions below.
Can I give it my own answers for certain questions?
Yes. In Q&A Prep you can save your own answer to questions you expect, and InQuiz uses your wording when that question comes up.
Privacy
What does Private mode do?
It keeps the InQuiz window out of screen shares, recordings and screenshots. It is on every time you open the app, and you can turn it off in Settings.
Is Private mode the same on Windows and Mac?
No. On Windows 10 and 11 the window is excluded from screen capture. On Mac it is excluded from screen sharing in a browser, but desktop meeting apps on recent macOS versions can still capture it. Test it on your own setup before you rely on it.
What happens to my resume and transcripts?
Your resume and session transcripts are stored in your account so you can review them later. You can delete resumes from your dashboard at any time.
When is it okay to use InQuiz?
Use it where AI assistance is allowed: practice, mock interviews, meetings, and interviews whose rules permit it. If an employer or exam says no AI tools, respect that.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. New accounts get 10 free sessions with every feature included, and no card is needed.
How do credits work?
One credit is one interview session. Credits from a pack never expire. On the Unlimited plan you don't use credits at all.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel a subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Unused credit packs can be refunded within 7 days; see the refund policy for details.
